Our Fundraising Activities

On returning to school in September, Year 6 hosted book sales across a week and raised an amazing £75! A fantastic start to our fundraising journey. Keep your eyes peeled for the next book sale.
During Lent, we undertook the Big Lent Walk 2024 as well as supporting CAFOD through a range of different activities, including a toast sale in Reception and Year Five have sold crosses made by their 3D printer. Well done everyone and we are grateful to parents for their support.
In October we held a “Brighten up for Harvest” day when all the children and staff wore bright clothes and gave a donation. We had a very enjoyable day and managed to raise £146.21!
Charities we support at Holy Family
We have a very active CAFOD group here at Holy Family School. We try to meet every week and talk about how we can promote the work of CAFOD and raise funds.
This group also explore Catholic Social Teaching, especially Pope Francis' message in both Fratelli Tutti and Ladauto Si papers. Pope Francis wants us to be a good neighbour and for us to care for our common home.
Mission Together is the Pope's official children's charity for overseas mission. Previously known as Holy Childhood, Mission Together has been working in Catholic schools and parishes worldwide since 1843, encouraging children to pray, fundraise and become missionaries themselves - children helping children.
