On Wednesday, Year 6 took part in a prayer and drama workshop entitled 'I am Unique,' delivered by Sarah Lee, the chaplain from Our Lady's Catholic High School. The children learned about how we're all made 'in the image and likeness of God' in a very fun, interactive way. They thoroughly enjoyed acting out mini role-plays, sharing positive affirmations with each other and concluded the session by writing prayers to thank God for their unique qualities and gifts and to ask for his guidance in using them to serve one another.

Here are a few comments from the children:

"We got to learn a lot about each other. We spoke and shared our thoughts and feelings with others who we wouldn't normally interact with on the playground."  Sarah

" I thought that it was a fun, bonding experience because we learnt a lot about each other. " Jack

"It showed me that no-one is more important than anyone else - we are all equal."  Myla

"It was fun acting and answering questions about how there are no bad people, only bad actions, but people who say unkind things or do unkind things can change this." Amber

"I loved the drama as it was fun." Olivia F
