We had a great week in reception learning all about growing.
We have planted seeds and observed them in different conditions. We planted sunflower seeds in compost and we have placed a bean in a bag with cotton wool. We have learnt about what plants need and compared this to other living things, like us!
We have also learnt and talked about how we have grown since we were born. The children loved guessing who the babies on the photographs were.
Our assembly celebrated how we have grown, not just by growing taller but how we have grown in confidence and in our learning.
