Year 6 enjoyed a cooking session today. After creating their own recipes for healthy soups, they gathered their ingredients and prepared to cook. Firstly they ensured that their workspace was sanitised and organised. Then they watched a demonstration of how to safely peel and chop vegetables. Next it was time to begin cooking. Miss Pearson, lead teacher for Food Technology visited the class to talk to the children and see them working in groups. She returned later in the day as a food critic who tasted their soups and delivered her verdict....."delicious"
