Year 5 Challenged each other to work out their maths problems on World Maths Day.
Year 5 Walk for Hunger
We have done 104 laps of our school track today to raise awareness of CAFOD's drive.
Each lap is approximately 1/10 of a mile.
We have done 601 laps across the last week, which is approximately 60 miles

Year 5 were awarded 'Class of the Week' by Preston North End Community and Education Trust.
Well done to our Year 5s.
They have also been given Two tickets each to watch the Preston and Blackpool game on 5th April.

Year 5 World Book Day
Thank you for helping your children dress up today for World Book Day, they look great.
Year 5 have been reading books to Year 1, which both classes love to do.
We have also watched the BBC live lesson for World Book Day, which was very inspirational.
Year 5 Prayer and Worship
We have been learning about Jesus through Luke's Gospel.

Year 5 Bikeability
We have had lessons on how to ride our bike safely.
This was a two day course which taught us how to be safe on our bikes.
The children really enjoyed the Bike Ability course and received awards for their efforts.
Year 5 Presentations
Year 5 have spent the week looking at inventions and presenting their own ideas to the class.
They took inspiration from Dragon's Den (BBC children's version) and tried to ensure that they had clear voices, using modal verbs to sell their product.
Year 5 awe and wonder
The children are learning that you can find awe and wonder everywhere.
The children have been out on our fields looking for inspiration.
