As part of their Science topic 'Living Things', Year 6 went for a visit to Dob Croft. They enjoyed time in the outdoors searching for wildlife. They were lucky enough to find a Great Crested Newt (a protected species) as well as various other creatures including a frog, worms and woodlice. Mr Ian Wright and Mr Ray Sudlow led a discussion about habitats. The children very enthusiastic and our guides were very impressed with the children's knowledge.
