Lord help me to be the best that I can be,

Help me not just to look but to really see.

Help me to speak your words clearly

and be proud to belong.

Give me the courage to help others each day,

Help me to realise that I am following in your footsteps in every way...

With Christ at the Centre, we love one another and always try our best.
We learn together and look after each other by showing respect and understanding.
We know that we are precious in God's eyes.

Holy Family staff enjoyed dressing up as Biblical characters to celebrate World Book Day and the Year of the Word!

On Tuesday 4 December 2018 our wonderful Year Four children and Maria from year Six took part in the Cafod Advent Service at St Anthony's Church along with Our Lady's Catholic High School and a collection of other Catholic primary schools.  It was a very meaningful and reflective evening, we thought about how we can prepare ourselves this Advent by helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  We were especially proud of Maria who read the first reading of the evening!  The primary schools contributed a piece of art work to reflect this special season and these are now displayed in the chapel at Our Lady's.

Unveiling of the Crib - Elsie Finney House

On Friday, 14th December, our school choir went over to Elsie Finney House with Mr Heron, Mrs Westray and Elsie to sing carols for the opening of the crib.  The children sang beautifully and enjoyed chatting to the old people.  Mr Heron and Mrs Westray were extremely proud of every child as they represented our school brilliantly!
